Top Diesel+ is a powerful multifunctional additive formulated to significantly improve the quality of diesel fuel and resolve problems of poor engine performance caused by the accumulation of dirt and, in general, by the alteration of the state of efficiency of the fuel system. It is suitable for use on both latest and older generation diesel engines of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Properties

Detergent and dispersant action

Thanks to its special detergent and dispersant substances, it allows to control and prevent the formation of high temperature deposits on injectors, valves and in the combustion chamber. It removes deposits that accumulate not only on the tips of the injectors but also on the moving components inside the injector (needle, spring, pressure rod), restoring the regular flow and optimal atomization of the fuel. Counteracts the possible presence of traces of water in the fuel, keeping them dispersed and facilitating their elimination, without negatively affecting combustion efficiency.

Fuel filterability enhancement

Thanks to its dispersing action, it allows to counteract the accumulation and agglomeration of insoluble residues resulting from external contamination, fuel oxidation and biodiesel. By keeping these deposits dispersed, it improves the filterability of the fuel, thus preventing the filter from clogging, while also protecting the pump and injectors from wear.

Biodiesel Deposit Control and HVO improver

Fuels containing biodiesel accentuate the phenomenon of clogging of the injection holes and fouling of the moving parts of the injector. Furthermore, they are more subject to the presence of water and prone to premature oxidation, leading to the formation of acidic compounds, sediments and sludge, which further contribute to fuel system degradation and loss of efficiency. HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils) diesel fuels also share many of these problems, as well as having poor lubricity and cold flow problems. The additive has proven effective in preventing these negative effects with both B10 biodiesel and HVO diesel, compensating for their deficiencies and making their use safer.

Lubricating action

It allows the fuel system to be kept lubricated and efficient over time even in the presence of fuels with low lubricity such as ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) and HVO diesel fuel. It reduces friction between moving mechanical components, contributing to fuel saving and protecting the injection pump, fuel pump and injectors from wear and seizure.

Anti-rust, anti-corrosion and stabilizing action

It protects the entire injection system from rust and corrosion, counteracting the harmful effects caused by the small quantities of water present. Thanks to its antioxidant power, it inhibits the aging of the fuel, avoiding the formation of acidic substances and the accumulation of oxidation deposits in the tank and on the diesel filter.

Lubricating Action

It permits to maintain the feeding system lubricated and effective over time, also in the presence of diesel oils with low lubricity, such as for example diesel oils with a very low sulphur content. It lubricates and protects the injection pump, the feeding pump and injectors from wear and seizure, also favoring their cooling.

Combustion improving action

It increases the cetane number of diesel fuel, improving fuel combustion and the energy efficiency of the engine. It increases engine power and response and facilitates cold starting. Furthermore, the efficiency enhancement has the effect of reducing fuel consumption and the production of polluting emissions.

Power Boost effect

Thanks to the synergistic action of increasing lubricity and improving fuel atomization, the additive allows obtaining an additional power gain of up to 1.7% compared to that which would be achieved in an ideal state of maintenance.

Use

For better mixing with the fuel, it is recommended to pour the additive into the tank just before refueling.

Standard Treatment

250 ml of additive in a full tank of fuel (about 60 litres) allows, right from the first use, a power recovery of up to 95%.

Power Boost treatment

By using 1 liter of product in a full tank of fuel it is possible to obtain complete and immediate cleaning and a power gain of up to 1.7%.

RECOMMENDED USE

To protect the fuel system from the accumulation of deposits and keep it efficient over time, carry out a treatment every 2 – 3 tanks of fuel or at least every 4.000 – 5.000 km.

To carry out a complete cleaning, especially in case of persistent deposits and/or decline in engine performance, it is possible to carry out two consecutive treatments without contraindications.
